Description: Fig. 1. On voit en C, un Gangui dont les halins sont attachés à la poupe & à la proue du bâtiment. E est une perche destinée à assujettir les deux bras du filet dans un écartement convenable. B D: deux bateaux qui traînent de concert un Gangui, afin d'aller plus vite. C'est ce qu'on nomme les Bœufs ou le Bœuf. Dans la figure 2 , G est le bateau C de la figure 1, vu en grand. F, bateau qui sert à la pêche du Gangui, avec un moulinet a. Les halins du filet, passes-à poupe & à proue , sont désignés par les lettres I K. On voit en H un cablot qui répond à une ancre. Nous avons été obligés de partager la figure j, pour faire appercevoir l'ensemble du Gangui. A est la manche ou sac du filet. Elle est précédée des deux bandes ou aîles B C; qui sont tenues dans un écartement toujours égal, par la perche E. Le tout est: amené à terre quand la Pêche est finie, par des hommes H H; qui tirent les halins H G F, que l'on voit amarrés aux aîles C. On voit que les halins , les aîles, & l'entrée de la manche, sont soutenus flottans par des lièges. Confultez les pages 152, 153 & 154.
