A kereskedelem, bár újab-ban több vasúti vonal kiépítése által emelke-dett, még mindig nagyon szerény korlátok köztmozog. A legjelentékenyebb vasúti vonalak ahelgrád-konstantinápolyi, 987 km. hosszú és alnlgrád-szalonikii, 597 km. hosszú, melyek a leg-rövidebb útul szolgálnak Kis-Azsia, Szíria, Egyip-tom, Kelet-Afrika és Kelet-India felé. Legsűrűbba vasúti hálózat Romániában (valamivel több mint2500 km.). Hazánkból 6 helyről vezet be a vasút aB.-re; és pedig: Sziszek-Sunja-Banjalukáig;BródSzarajevo-Mosztár-Metkovicig; Vinkovcótől-Brcs-káig; Zimony-Belgrád-Szalonikiig és Konstanti-nápolyig; Vereiorova-Bukarest-Várnáig ós Pre-•. enl-Bukarest-Várnáig.
