PLATE XXXII.—Injukies and Disease of Pelvis and Hip-joint. a, Fractiue of pelvis in a child ; the injury has occurred at both pubic bones, and on one sidethrough the ischium. h, Fracture of neck of femur, impaction into great trochanter. c, Displacement of upper end of femur in a child. The acetabulum is eroded and the head of femuris absent. This is probably th^ result of tuberculosis. The appearauces are somewhat similar to thoseof congenital dislocation.
