Description
English: View of trains at the Rimutaka Summit, the locomotive on the left is an "R" Class steam locomotive. Three small cottages are on the left of the railway tracks. Three passenger carriages are stopped, with a number of people standing at the doorways or leaning out windows, while a goods train with laden wagons is in the near centre. Another locomotive is pulling onto the station on the right, with a railway shed centre right. Photograph taken by an unidentified photographer. This image is a film copy negative taken by Albert Percy Godber from an original print in Godber Album Vol 102, p 76 (PA1-f-025).
