Description
English: Rear view of an Arvin radio, model 163-T, manufactured by Deseronto Electonics Limited in Deseronto, Ontario, in the 1940s. The text on the back of the radio reads:

"Any person installing or operating this receiving set without first having obtained a licence from the Minister of Transport of Canada is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding $25.00 and the receiving set may be forfeited to His Majesty by order of the Minister for such disposition as the Minister may direct.
Extract from the Radio Act, 1938, Radio Regulations part 2, paragraph 66 (F).
Licensed by the Canadian Radio Patents Ltd.-patented 1929-1948 inclusive.
CAUTION
Disconnect the supply cord before removing chassis from cabinet.
