2nd Lieut. JAMES CRUICKSHANKS. 7th Cameronians (S.R.).Died of wounds, 3rd August, 1916. 2nd Lieut. James Cruickshanks. 7th Cameronians (Scottish Rifles). 2nd Lieut. James Cruickshanks, Shipping Depart-ment. Joined the 5th Scottish Rifles on 29th January, 1915. Received his Commission in the 7th ScottishRifles on 5th December, 1915, and went to Francein May, 1916. Wounded at the Somme on 19th July, 1916, from the effects of which he died on 3rd August,1916, at Rouen. 2nd Lieut. Malcolm Fletcher. 9th Highland Light Infantry (Glasgow Highlanders). 2nd Lieut. Fletcher, Bombay Finance Department.A Territorial and mobilised in August, 1914. Draftedto Gallipoli with the Queens Own Royal GlasgowYeomanry. Wounded, and in February, 1916, wasdischarged. Rejoined on receipt of his Commissionin November, 1916, and was drafted to France.Severely wounded near Nieuport, in Flanders, on6th September, 1917, and died two days later.
