So that, with the addition of French on occasion, exception; there is absolutely no helping or hocuspocus of any kind in examinations. An evenbolder, but equally true, statement is that theMcDonogh boy does not cram for examinations;partly because he is practically examined exeryday, and the term-marks preponderate in valueover the examination averages, and partly, I sup-pose, because he is a healthy individual in a healthyatmosphere, not a strained organism in an Intellectual forcing-bed.
