English: An incomplete Roman cast lead-alloy steelyard weight (AD 43-410).
The suspension loop is missing. The weight is biconical in form and has the remains of an iron suspension loop at the apex. This weight is mostly covered with a buff patina. The visible iron is corroded. Height: 38.57mm; diameter: 34.93mm. Weight: 175.49g. |
