Title
Roman brick or tile fragment (probably)
Description
English: A fragment of a ceramic tile or brick, probably dating from the Roman period.

The piece represents the corner of the tile, with two portions of two sides intact. It is crudely formed in a mottled orangey-brown fabric containing large inclusions of grog and chalk. The surfaces bear impressions of what appears to be plant material. The tile measures 91.1mm long, 78.7mm wide, 30.8mm thick and weighs 318.06g.
