Roman copper alloy T-shaped brooch
Description
English: Copper alloy T-shaped Roman brooch, 150-200 AD. The wings are cylindrical and the bow tapers to the foot which has a missing tip. Obverse is decorated and reverse smooth. The wings hve moulded reels as has the bottom of the foot. The bow has been moulded and has a central ridge . There are the remains of a white coloured metal coating. Width 26mm, length 28mm, weight 7.61g.
