Roman copper alloy T-shaped brooch
Description
English: A Roman copper alloy T-shaped brooch. The wings are cylindrical in section and contain an axis bar for a hinged pin. The right hand wing is incomplete. The pin is missing. The bow is comma shaped in profile with two parallel ridges running down the centre. The bow tapers to the foot. The terminal of the foot is missing, as is the catchplate. The brooch has a green patina. Length 22.5mm, width 24.2mm, weight 5.8g
