Roman samian ware bowl
Description
English: Body sherd of samian ware bowl, dating to the roman period. The small piece of samian ware has a very light pink fabric and red slip. The sherd is decorated and most of the slip has come away form the outside on the sherd. the decoration is badly worn and no rim is present, it could be a section of an Antonine style winding scroll design, possible form 37, dating to the 2nd century AD.
