Title
Roman zoomorphic brooch
Description
English: Roman copper alloy zoomorphic brooch, 15.55 mm long, 11.17 mm wide, 6.15 mm thick.

The object is in a fair condition and it weighs 1.04 grms. It is a fragment of a plate brooch representing the back-end of a hare. The hare, pointing right, retains part of its tail, formed by a partially eroded triangular protrusion and is missing the lower part of its leg. Two enamel cells are visible, the larger is comma shaped and forms the back end. The other is incomplete and trapezoidal in form . On the reverse side, which is flat, the semi-circular lug is present.
