Summary edit

Description
English: Craftsman from 2nd Battalion, Corps of The Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers or (2 Close Support Battalion REME) manning a Vehicle Check Point (using a MAN SV Support Vehicle with its mounted GPMG) while vehicle and recovery mechanics get on with the task of recovering vehicles using various assets at their disposal during a training exercise.

The Corps of the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME) provides engineering support and is responsible for maintaining and repairing the Army’s equipment.

They will be found wherever the army is located at home or overseas. The diversity in the Army’s equipment challenges the best engineers but the soldiers receive the best technical training giving them the confidence to tackle any engineering problem.
