Description
English: Image of a MAN SVR Vehicle (support vehicle recovery), being used to upright an upturned donor heavy goods vehicle in ‘field conditions’ by 2nd Battalion, Corps of The Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers or (2 Close Support Battalion REME).

A Recovery Mechanic is using straps and a prop to help stabilise the load to be moved.

The Corps of the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME) provides engineering support and is responsible for maintaining and repairing the Army’s equipment.

They will be found wherever the army is located at home or overseas. The diversity in the Army’s equipment challenges the best engineers but the soldiers receive the best technical training giving them the confidence to tackle any engineering problem.
