Deutsch: 6. Station Zukunftsenergientour: Transformatoren aus NRW für Offshore-Windparks

Nordrhein-Westfalen profitiert vom Ausbau der Offshore-Windenergie. Nach der PricewaterhouseCoopers-Studie „Volle Kraft aus Hochseewind“ gewinnt NRW im Vergleich zu den restlichen Bundesländern mit 23 Prozent des Branchenumsatzes am meisten durch Investitionen in den Offshore-Ausbau. Auf NRW entfallen gemäß der Studie 18 Prozent der in Deutschland unmittelbar durch Offshore entstandenen Arbeitsplätze – darunter mehr als 2.500 Beschäftigte innerhalb der personalintensiven Produktion von Komponenten. Auf der sechsten Station seiner Zukunftsenergientour besuchte NRW-Klimaschutzminister Johannes Remmel mit einer Delegation der EnergieAgentur.NRW das Transformatorenwerk von ABB in Bad Honnef. Die Transformatoren kommen bei der Anbindung von Offshore-Windparks zum Einsatz.
