English: U.S. Army Capt. William Gainey, commander of the 1221st Engineer Clearance Company, S.C. Army National Guard, Graniteville, S.C., briefs the adjutant general of South Carolina, Maj. Gen. Robert E. Livingston, Jr., on the the debris clearing efforts of his soldiers at the Graniteville Armory, Feb. 14, 2014, following the fierce snow and ice storm which hit the area earlier in the week. Several teams of Soldiers belonging to the 122nd Engineer Battalion spread out to various parts of Aiken County to assist local authorities in clearing secondary roads of trees and other debris. |
