Tony Smola, from San Antonio (right) and Petty Officer 1st Class Brian Blessing, sonar technician (surface) from Austin, Texas, add towels and school supplies to a box destined for a northern Japan orphanage. Listeners of the Pacific-Northwest-based "Ron and Don" radio show organized and shipped more than 96,000 pounds of donated clothing, toys, food, and other items destined for orphanages and other areas affected by the March 11, 2011 earthquake and subsequent tsunami.
