Vogel.; Blind stamp: C Bodmer.; Exhibited: "Rivers, Edens, Empires : Lewis & Clark and the Revealing of America" at Joslyn Art Museum, Omaha, Nebraska ; North Dakota Museum of Art, Bismark, North Dakota ; Museum of History and Industry, Seattle, Washington, 2004-05.; Karl Bodmer traveled the American west between 1832 and 1834 as an artist accompanying Prince Maximilian's expedition; prints were pulled between the late 1830s and early 1840s for publication.
