English: A gunner atop his Humvee looks through thermal imaging sites and Long Range Advance Scout Surveillance System during a Suffolk-based Troop B, 2nd Squadron, 183rd Cavalry Regiment, 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, Virginia Army National Guard area reconnaissance mission June 15, 2015, at Fort Drum, NY. The mission was in conjunction with the squadron’s five-day field training exercise, a major component of the 116th IBCT’s Multi-echelon Integrated Brigade Training. The MIBT is the first of it’s kind run by First Army Division East, a division responsible for training Reserve and National Guard troops ahead of their ready year. Engineers and Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear specialists from Fredericksburg-based 116th Brigade Special Troops Battalion attached to Troop B for the exercise.
