English: Marines observe Sgt. Christopher D. Madison, right, tie a modified girth hitch with detonation cord June 19 at the Central Training Area. A group of Marines and sailors were given an opportunity to learn basic demolition skills from explosive ordnance disposal technicians for a day. They were taught basic demolition techniques and were able to get some hands-on experience with the explosives. The observing Marines are with Ammunition Company, 3rd Supply Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 35, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force. Madison is with 3rd Explosive Ordnance Disposal Company, 9th Engineer Support Battalion, 3rd MLG, III MEF. |
