English: The copper-alloy core of a plated contemporary copy of a denarius of Severus Alexander dating to the period AD 222 to 228 (Reece period 11). PAX AETERNA AVG reverse type depicting Pax standing left. As Mint of Rome. cf. RIC IV, Pt II, p. 83, no. 165.
The coin has been pierced. There is a circular perforation at 3 o'clock on the obverse. |
