Title
Silver snake finger-ring. 2009T608
Description
English: Fragments of silver snake finger-ring of Johns (1996) Type C, a form "which incorporates two or more complete snakes in the design" (Johns 1997, 35-7): two lengths of wire, both with a snake-head terminal and one end missing, form a loose reef knot . Part of a probably separate object, a pin with a small biconical head, passes through the centre of the knot. All three fragments move freely, although the pin is held in place by the other two pieces and cannot be withdrawn.
