It is in nearly allcases finished with a sand-rubbed surface as illustrated on Page 13.This is the finish almost entirely mentioned in the descriptions of sanitaryslate fixtures. Whenever the more expensive honed surface is desiredor it is felt is better for the purpose, it will be found called for in the de- 12 THE STRUCTURAL SLATE COMPANY scription of that particular finish will be in accordance with the illustra-tion. Those who are further interested in more fully detailed knowledgeconcerning the many uses of slate, how produced and how assembled—as well as technical knowledge concerning its origin and geologic data,structure and characteristics, extraction and milling, surfaces and finishes,etc., and set forth in the Chapters described on Pages 7 and 8, may secureany of these publications upon application to THE STRUCTURALSLATE COMPANY, Pen Argyl, Penna.
