English: Sgt. Nicholas B. Abernathy, scout sniper team leader, Headquarters and Service Company, 1st Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, double checks the sight adjustments on his M40A5 sniper rifle. Adjustments usually come from the spotter. The spotter makes recommendations based on feedback from the shooter, round impact, and wind variation.
