Description
English: Southeast corner of Fourth and Chestnut Streets. The east lawn in front of the Old Court House is visible at the southwest corner of the intersection. Advertisements for Anheuser Busch Beer and a sign in a restaurant buffet proclaiming they get baseball scores every inning can be seen to the southeast. The Gilbert Book Company, specializing in law books and legal blanks is next door to the buffet. Spring Pipe Threader, A.J. Crawford’s Old Book Store, the International Bank of St. Louis and J.W. Herthel, Architect are all located on this block.
