THE YELLOW RAMBLER "AGLATA." Crimson Rambier. Another season's trial fully justi- fies all the praise that has been given it in the past. Wherever seen during the past summer it has been a mass of rich, glowing crimson, and everyone who has it is delighted with it. Perfectly hardy; won- derfully free flowering; intensely bright and vivid in color. The plant is a strong, rampant grower, making shoots 10 to 12 feet long in a season when well established. The flowers are produced ;rc large trusses, pyramidal in shape, often 35 to 40 in a cluster, fairly covering the plant from the ground to the top with a mass of bright, glowing crimson. The color is simply superb, and is retained unfaded. or without showing any of the purplish tinge so often seen in dark roses, fcr an unusual length of time. For walls, pillars and porches, or any other place w here a hardy climbing rose is wanted, noth- ing can be more desirable or beautiful. If grown in beds and pegged down, it makes a brilliant dis- play with its profusion of bloom, large clusters shooting out from each joint. As many as 300 blooms have been counted on a single branch. 15c, 4 for 50c. Large plants 40c. Yellow RcimMor. (Aglaia.) The only yel- low hardy climbing rose. It has been thoroughly tested and found to success- fully withstand without protection a continued temperature of zero and below. It is similar to Crimson Rambler in manner of blooming, the flowers being in immense clusters and having the same lasting qualities, remaining in bloom three to four w?eks. The plant is even freer in growth than Crimson Rambler, and soon makes a fine, showy specimen. 15c, 4 for 50c. Large plants 40c. White Rambler. (Thalia.) In habit of growth, foliage, manner of blooming and shape of flower this is identical with C. Rambler, differing only in color, which in Thalia is pure, clear white. 15c, 4 for 50c. Large plants 50c. One each of the 3 Ramblers for 40c. Large 2 year plants $1.00 GENERAL COLLECTION OF TEA AND EVER-BLOOMING ROSES. Agrippina. (China.) An excellent rose for bedding or pot culture; continuous bloomer; color, fine, velvety crimson. Alfred Aubert. (Bourbon.) Bright red; flowers are nicely shaped, appearing in abundance; plants are strong, healthy growers. Bon Silene. Still a prime favorite, on ac- count of its delightful fragrance and strong growing qualities; color, deep rose, shaded carmine. Valuable for summer or winter flowers. Bertha Clavel. (Bourbon.) A striped sport of Souv. de la Malmaison; very handsomely shaded; creamy white with rose center, back of petals striped violet and rose. Baron Berge. A soft lemon white at base of petals, finely tinted rose on the outer edges. The buds and open flowers are large and beautifully shaded, while the plant is vigorous and healthy in growth. Beaute Inconstant. (The Rose of many colors.) A single plant will bear flowers ranging in color from coppery yellow, blush pink, carmine and appricot to light crimson. The bud is especially fine, being a coppery orange scarlet, all the variations of coloring appearing in the open flower. A strong, healthy grower and a prolific bloomer, loc. Christine de Noue. A splendid, free flowering rose: color, rich crimson maroon, changing to purplish red. Makes a large, nicely shaped bush, with clean, bright foliage. Catharine Mermet. One of the finest roses grow n. The buds are very large and globular, the petals being recurved and showing to advantage the love- ly bright pink of the center, shading into light, creamy pink, reminding one of LaFrance in its silvery shading. A strong grower and fine bloomer. Corinna. A variety of rare and exquisite beauty, with tints and blendings of color not to be found in any other rose; is best described as a flesh color, shaded with rose and suffused with tawny copper. Flowers of large size, full and of excellent shape. Countess de Breteuil. One of the standard varieties which will always be a favorite. It is delightfully scented; color a rich shade of golden amber, deli- cately tinged with apricot and ruddy copper; beau- tiful in bud or open flower.
