a—Finely marbled with yellowish green and crimson. Marvel—Leaves fringed and toothed, green with dark margin, and the entire leafreticulated with purple. Murrayii—Rich chocolate color, wdth narrow bright green edge. Princess Beatrice—Light green, beautifully veined with purple. Princess Royal—Light crimson, green edge. Prince of Wales—Light purple, dark blotches, green edge. Princess of Wales—Bright bronzy crimson, green edge. Queen Victoria—Light bronzy crimson, bright golden edge, crimson nerves.Scottii—Foliage green, with deep purple nerves and shading of violet.Verschaffeltii—Deep crimson green and bronze foliage. Convalaria Majalis—Lily of the Valley. A hardy plant, growing ten to twelve inches high, producing, in May, spikes ofsmall bell shaped flowers of the most delightful fragrance. Eedera—Evergreen Ivy. Fine for growing in suspended baskets. The plain green variety being quite Hardy,will grow well out of doors, and is valuable for coAering walls having a northern orwestern exposure, as it will cling to a wall readily. Price 25 to 50 cents each. Canariensis—Large plain green leaf. Cavendishii—Leaves edged with white. Maculata Angustifolia—Neatly spotted white and green; very distinct and pretty.MacuLata Aurea—Aariegated with golden yellow.Marginata Argentea—Silver margin: free habit. Marmorata—Very robust growth; young leaves beautifully marbled, green andwhite. Ehorabea Variegata—SmaU leaves, having fine silver margin ; distinct. 36 Catalogue of the Canna, or Indian Shot Plant. The Cannas are stately and highly ornamental plants, growing from four to sevenfeet high, with large, broad foliage, terminated with racemes, of showy yellow,crimson or scarlet flowers.
