English: Squadron Leaders, B.S. Kanwar, (left), Indian Air Force, and Shaheed Al-mamun, Bangladesh Air Force along with Flight Lieutenant Martyn Silver, (right), Royal Australian Air Force exchanges ideas about flightline activities in preparation for PACIFIC AIRLIFT RALLY 2001 on Andersen AFB, Guam. PACIFIC AIRLIFT RALLY (PAR) is a PACAF-sponsored Military Airlift symposium for countries in the pacific region. PAR, held every two years and hosted by a pacific nation, this year Guam is the host nation with the symposium staging out of Andersen AFB. The symposium includes informational seminars with area of expertise briefings, a Command Post Exercise (CPX) which addresses military airlift support to a humanitarian airlift/disaster relief scenario, and a concurrent flying training program that builds upon the CPX scenario. |
