Photograph of Sturdivant's (Sturtevant?) sacred Egyptian lotus pond and garden on Franklin Avenue, Hollywood, California, ca.1920. The lotuses are visible in the foreground, some wilted, others in bloom, others still in bud. No buildings are visible. Only undeveloped scrub brush covered land is visible beyond the narrow wooden picket fence which surrounds the garden.
