Iraqi troops trained on reaction to IEDs and snipers during the class as part of Tadreeb al Shamil, the Iraqi-led training initiative aimed at modernizing and bolstering Iraq’s military capabilities. U.S. soldiers of 2nd Advise and Assist Brigade, 25th Infantry Division carefully observed and reviewed the training after transitioning control of teaching duties to Iraqi instructors. |
