English: Tanzania People's Defense Force Sgt. Josephat John Rivas, left, U.S. Navy Petty Officer 1st Class Will Brogdon and Tanzania People's Defense Force Cpl. Jilaoneka Zacharia Ngumbi enter the command hospital to begin training during a tactical casualty care course as part of Africa Partnership Station (APS) 2012 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, March 6, 2012. The course prepared medical team members to teach boarding teams in future regional exercises and to support APS engagements. APS is an international security cooperation initiative facilitated by Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa aimed at strengthening global maritime partnerships through training and collaborative activities in order to improve maritime safety and security in Africa. |
