Description
English: Double warp twill, brocaded in gold (gold beaters' gold). Patterned with trefoils, each enclosing a rose, flanked at top by diagonal banderoles with debased Islamic inscription, which is arranged in diagonal repeats in cream tabby on cream twill ground. Metallic brocaded palmettes and brocaded insect. This piece has a red stripe across the bottom, indicating end of piece.
