In general, it must beborne in mind that thediagnosis of multiple di-verticulitis is not to bemade from the ;i-rayalone, although in somecases it may seem pos-sible. The ,r-ray evidencemust be considered inconjunction with the his-tory, physical examina-tion, and other labora-tory findings. This is ofparticular importance inthe differentiation ofcancer and multiple di-verticulitis.
