Think what misfortune marredthis patients girlhood because she didnot receive proper treatment until aftertwenty years of age, largely because herocclusion was normal! The one case in this group in whichthe front teeth were in marked mal-align-ment is shown in Fig. 4. It will be seen cause of the greater prominence ofthe chin and the almost perfect dento-facial outlines, but I can aver thatthis is wholly due to retruding the dento-facial area, made possible by the extrac-tion of the four first bicuspids.
