ny of the other girls. Not having as much studying to do as the other classes,we devote most of our time to fun, and fun we have, too. There is never a mid-night feast, or a prank of any kind, that we are not present to anticipate in it. Of course we are the smartest girls in college, althoughthe smartest girl isnt in our class (tt> be sure she is aSenior) yet Stell McGhee is a special. Then we have GraceKirkman in our class, she is especially fond of the mail ? ? ?Fushia Lackey is the jolliest: Myra Herman is the sweetest;Annie Perry is the handsomest and Maggie Davis is the cut-est, but, oh, it is useless to think of summing up the promi-nent characteristics of each member of this famous Specialclass of nineteen hundred and ten. But let it be sufficientto say, that we fully feel our importance. Yet we alwayskeep in mind our motto, Do ye the next thing. We sin-cerely hope that our influence as the special class of nine-teen and ten has been wholly for good. (No more.) Anna M. Puett.

LOUISE LYNCH June, 1909 MAMIE BAILEY June, 1909 Sweet Sixteen (From a school girls diary) June 1, 1909■ ELL! School closed yesterday and here I am back athome again. The last four months have passed bysooner than I expected. Oh, how I have longed forhome and how happy I expected to be if I ever got home anymore. At last I am realizing what I have been dreaming ofso long. When my darling daddy met me at the station thisafternoon I wanted to shout for joy. I was so glad to seehim and felt very proud when he looked at me and said: Well, my little girl is sixteen now and it wont be longbefore she will be a woman. I think it will be a very long time myself, nevertheless, only a sixteen year old girl can do lots and I feel that I havea mission to perform this summer. I will write in thisdiary all about how I succeed etc. Cause I have started thisdiary with the intention of writing in it every night and evenif my summer vacation isnt so very interesting, this will bea good way to help pass
