DRAPING THE FULL FORM THE full form for displaying dressfabrics was somewhat neglectedduring the years that the shellform was first introduced. It is truethat a few window dressers occasionallydid use it, but those that got thorough-ly satisfactory results were rare. Onereason why the full form was not usedmore is because many window dressersseem to have had the opinion that con-siderable genius was required to makean attractive drape of this sort. Itmust be admitted that a good deal ofpractice is necessary to get good efifect?with a full form. If the decoratoiknows how to go about it, howe^eI,and is thoroughly familiar with theprinciples of draping fabrics, he shouldbe able to get very fair results andwith practice ought to be able to makeattractive drapes. All draping is doneon more or less the same principlesand one who understands how to han-dle a shell form can, with study andpractice, learn to get equally good re-sults with the full form.
