Sound. There a single British submarineengaged the squadron. The German vessels moved in circlesin an effort to avoid the attack of the enemy, but the Britishcraft followed closely. That thirty-four German trawlers had been captured andtaken into Grimsby since September 15 was disclosed in anofficial statement printed in London on October 15.
