English: Title: The McLaughlin Block commercial building in Pueblo, Colorado

Physical description: 1 photograph : digital, tiff file, color.

Notes: The structure was built in 1891 in the Victorian Eclectic style with Romanesque features. It was dedicated to Michael McLaughlin, who died in 1888. It originally contained a hotel, two saloons, two restaurants, a barbershop and a shoe shop. Before 1921, there was a garden level in the front of the building that was never unearthed after the devastating Pueblo flood later that year that filled the area with mud and debris. This three-story building was a vital structure in PuebloÆs Union Avenue Historic Commercial District.; Purchase; Carol M.
