At a recent chapter meeting Don Calkins,John Jefferson, and Phil Moore, were electedhouse trustees. Jeff takes an active interestin chapter affairs and is in a position tokeep an eagle eye on the brothers, as helives in the house. Since their election thetrustees have started an active campaign toform a local alumni association. Diflficulties have arisen recently to disturbthe usual serene life in the chapter house.It appears that the sewer connection is outof order. After trying to interest everyplumber in the city, and the Department ofPublic Works in the job, the brothers startedexcavating themselves. While wielding apick Roy Stickel discovered to his delight ageyser and was about to announce it pub-licly when it was discovered that he hadpunctured the water main.
