JackMickle, 28, and Phil, the present W. M. Speakers of the evening included PaulM. Lincoln, dean of the electrical engi-neering school; Solomon C. Hollister,assistant dean of the engineering collegeand dean of the civil engineering school;Phil Mickle, Worthy Master; GraemeParrish; Charles C. Winding, facultyadviser of the chapter; and John M.MacGregor, Province Chief. After thebanquet there was a party for the alum-ni in the Ithaca Hotel. Province ChiefMacGregor presented Toastmaster Tru-man with a Province Chiefs jewel ofoffice in recognition of his services tothe chapter and to the National Fra-ternity. On Sunday the alumni had dinner atthe cliapter house followed by a generalbull session. Greetings were sent toE. J. Sunday morn-ing the chapter, together with all alumnipresent, attended church together whileSunday afternoon there was a trip toMount Mansfield, the historic back cam-pus of the university. The next day theactives had classes, but many of themcut in order to entertain alumni mitilthe big Founders Day banquet Mondaynight which climaxed the festivities. On the night of the sixth of October,1887, Beta Eta chapter of Alpha TauOmega was born into the Greek World. Her godfather, Bro.
