Description
English: The cover design by Willamina Parrish shows an outline of a Japanese temple with two trees in pots next to the poles of the entrance and the floating head of a man. Issue includes table of contents design, an illustrated calendar for June, a poem titled "Death and the Rose," a design for the heading in "The Hatchet," and stained glass designs by Willamina Parrish; photographs of terra cotta sculptures by Caroline Risque; a design for a cookery book and photographs made with her sister Willamina by Grace Parrish; a poem titled "To Josephine Preston Peabody" by Vine Colby; a stencil border design and a design for a wrought-iron candle shade by Petronelle Sombart; two poems titled "At Parting" and "The Gift" by Sara Teasdale; and a short story titled "Dummy's Work" and a translation of "Ferdinand of the Greens" from the German by Edna Wahlert.
