Su/iVzerland 1 Chart No.2 C.O.F. All of these are filling important positions in Hospitals andTraining Schools throughout the country as Superintendents,Principals, Instructors, and Supervisors. They are also contribut-ing to the development of good educational standards in nursingin China, India, Italy, France, Switzerland, and other foreigncountries. 8 In the Public Health Field the School has supplied over 150trained workers, of whom a large number are filling difficult andhighly responsible positions in national, state, and city healthwork. Several of them have made useful contributions to thedevelopment of other special branches of public health work. The School has sent forth an army of competent, skilled nursesfor practice in private families, and for many years the largernumber of the graduates were thus engaged. But with the verygreat number of schools now well prepared to meet this need, theexceptional opportunities which The Johns Hopkins Hospital Schoolof Nursing can offer
