Church-Steeple, built by the side of the church (seventeenth century >. From Svecia Anltqtia. The hand-some church was ready in the autumn. September 4 was aday of rejoicing and thanksgiving. The colonists assembled intheir new church and after a sermon and amid appropriate cere-monies, the Revs. Campanius and Fluviander officiating, thechurch was dedicated for divine services. The burying placewas consecrated on the same day.
