Brunnichs Murre on Lake Erie, 1907.—A Brunnicirs Murre wasfound in the eastern part of Sandusky, Oliio, in the water near BigIsland, and picked up December 1st, 1907. It lived two or threedays in captivity. I had it mounted. The taxidermist told melately that two others were brought to him at the same time. Oneof my pupils told me that four of these birds were sliot December ;!d,by the Teasel Brothers, who said they could have shot two more. May 20, 1906, while Swales and Fleming were walking in alongthe road on the west side of the Point, on the homeward trip, aMockingbird was flushed opposite a newly planted orchard. Flemingsecured the bird, which proved to be a nmle with well developedtestes. It is now in his collection. Search was made for a possil)lemate, but without avail.
