B. hafniense Miiller ( =B. pratense Mtiller). o ubd 40—41, htr 35—3(5, pt 4-5, yellowish brown; memh. small, white. Thorax and abd. hairy, dark brown with bands and spots of yellow, green or blue. App. sup. long, curved; inf. short. 9 abd 38, hio 35. Dorsal thoracic bands reduced to spots; other markings yellower. Local. July. Tribe Aeschnini (Characters, p. 265). Genus IV. Aeschna Fabr.
