Many of the lesions of the bladder areconfined to this area. (e) The interureteric ligament connects the ureteral emi-nences and is seen as a line sometimes elevated and separating thesmooth, deeper colored surface of the trigone from the paler surfaceof the bladder. Expression of pus from the ducts of Skenes glands. (Kelly.) He observes that the location of inflammatory lesions is determinedsomewhat by the movable and fixed areas. Viewing the interior ofthe bladder with a cystoscope, the respiratory movements define themovable area as contrasted with the fixed portion. The edges where the two saucers meet form three folds, a pos-terior and two lateral folds. The apices formed by the meeting ofthese folds are known as the right and left vesical cornua. 2. Relations of the Bladder to Surrounding Structures. The trigonelies in close proximity to the anterior vaginal wall. Above this thebase of the bladder is in direct apposition to the supravaginal por-tion of the cervix.
