nburgias, &c. &c. Those of the same description that were rooted in autumn, and preserved instove-pots, may now be potted off singly and placed in peat, where they will soongrow vigorously and make fine plants by the season, for transplanting in April orMay. Inarch Camellias. Bring in, from time to time, Roses, Rhododendrons, Lilacs,and all other plants for forcing, so as to keep up a succession of flowers. Cuttings of some of the more fresh-growing kinds of Ericas may now be putin sand and covered with bell-glasses. The young and tender shoots succeedbest; and it is sometimes necessary to put the plants into the stove for two orthree weeks to force the shoots, so as to make them fit for taking off for cuttings. Cactus Speciosus, Speciosissimus, Ackermanni, and Vandesii, that have beenkept dry and placed in the greenhouse for some time, may in part be removedinto the stove towards the end of the month, where by giving heat and moisturethey will soon show abundance of blossoms.
