Dec. 15, 1844, in MadisonCo., N. Y., and came to this county withher parents in 1853 ; have four children—Clarence E., Fannie E., Florence A.,Charles A. His father, Adam White, andmother Margaret Watson (White), werenatives of Scotland, and emigrated to theUnited States in 1833 ; they had twelvechildren, five living—John M. (mentionedelsewhere), Mary, Adam, Robert andJames. JOHN M. WHITE, farmer. Sec. 28;P. 0. Wilmington; owns 300 acres ofland in this county, and 413 acres in Kan-kakee, valued at $35,600. Held office ofCollector two years. Supervisor one term,in 1865, and Township Tru.stee for eightyears, which office he now holds; bornDec. 23, 1823, in Glasgow, Scotland, andcame to this country with his fathersfamily in 1833 ; they located in Living-ston Co., N. Y. ; thence to Ontario Co.,two years later ; thence to Williamsport,Penn. All the family, consisting of hisfather (Adam White), mother (MargaretWatson White), five brothers and twosisters, located within two miles of Mr.
