Monsieur,C£ Voici un nouveau genre de Plantes, que jai eu auffî Voceafon de décrire daprès la Plante même, qui étoit encore fur pie, que jappelle trilobé, à caufe du triple lobe qui renferme jonjruit, G?•* qui efl fl remarquable, mais qui na pas été décrite dans Jen vrai caraSlcre. Lécaillé intérieure de la noix efl dune fubflance durecc & corneufe, double, renfermant chacune fa femence, & souvrant aufommet par une valvule de la gouffe du milieu, qui efl dune fub- fiance coriace, renfermant la noix entière, & souvrant à travers aufommet. La gouffe extérieure refemble au calice dun gland,* renfermant la moitié de la noix. Les pétales font, en quelque** manière, doubles à la bdfe, un petit neclarium, en forme de pé~ taie, de la longueur du perlantbium, étant comme attaché à la_ bâjè de chaque pétale. Jean Mitchell.
